Bentokol
Preparation for removal of slag supports an easy disposal of oxides and impurities from the surface of the melt in foundry ladles and melting furnaces. It is a reliable agent for removal of slag defects of castings.
The preparations are noted for
- they cover the bath surface
- they create closed slag layers on the melt surface
- they enable an easy skimming – they do not mean any burden to the foundry climate
The viscous slag is necessary for creating closed slag layers and for retaining of oxide and impurity layers. At the same time the slug should however form a firm therefore easily removable layer.
Bentokol K1
The swelling point between 900 and 1150oC and the distribution of corn 0 – 2,0 mm characterize it.
Bentokol K2
The swelling point between 900 and 1100oC and the distribution of corn 0 – 1,0 mm characterize it.
Bentokol K3
It is phonolite, a magmatic rock made of alkaline feldspar, sodalite, nepheline and alkalinous pyroxenes. It is applicable for melts of lower melting point up to 900oC; distribution of corn 0 – 0,5 mm.
Packing
In paper bags of 50 kg or upon agreement.
