Mixed clays

Clay IBB

Mixed earthenware clay. It is a mixture of a low plasticity and middle plasticity clay. It is very good into manufactures with light porous body and for manufacturing of fireproof goods (e.g. melting pots). It is not suitable for quick-firing.  - organic content is about 2%.

Clay WA

Mixed plastic clay. It is suitable as clay semi-material for fireclay goods manufacturing. Burnt shale must be used as opening material up to the proportion 1:1 (clay : shale). The clay is suitable also into the floor tiles and wall tiles bodies, for utility ceramics as well as for quick-firing materials. Plasticity and melting operations must be corrected by additional clays, opening materials and fluxing agents.

Clay WBTS

Mixed medium plastic refractory clay, suitable for products with light shard. It contains organic matter from 1.5 to 3%.

Packing and shipping:

Mixed clays IBB and WA are supplied in bulk or crushed micronized dry in paper bags or in containers type of big-bag on pallets. Mixed clays WBTS and WS-1 are supplied only in the crushed state.
