Truck trial 2025

On April 26-27, 2025, an adrenaline-filled weekend of the Truck Trial competition took place in the closed part of the KERAMOST quarry - Černý Vrch near the village of Braňany. Visitors were treated to a spectacle in the form of races of unique trucks and off-road vehicles. There were plenty of food stands, children's attractions, an evening disco and other entertainment. What is Truck Trial?

It is a sport that is about the art of riding, about how to overcome the seemingly insurmountable. All races involve driving through abnormally difficult terrain, sometimes even artificially created. It is not just about overcoming a steep slope, it is about navigating this terrain and passing a specified section and placed gates, even at the cost of not knowing whether the laws of gravity will apply or if you will push it a little further. If it doesn't work out, you will fight these laws again next time. The question of whether you will “drown” in a section full of mud and water or whether you will successfully complete it is usually asked by competitors only after the race. For those who complete it, the question is quite clear, for those who do not complete it, it is a challenge to overcome such demanding sections next time. Because the limit that one thinks is insurmountable is actually much, much further away. Not for the faint of heart. It is a sport for truly strong individuals.

The competition is held in 7 categories:

S1 – MB Unimog, Tatra 805

S2 – MB Unimog, IFA W50, Avia, Praga, Viza ROSS

S3 – Tatra 138, Praga V3S, Liaz, Viza ROSS

S4 – Tatra 813 and 815 6×6, Ural

S5 – Tatra 813 8×8

P1 and P2 categories of small and large unique prototypes, where each of the cars is an original.
