Compliance and reporting system

Compliance and Code of Ethics is a basic document that sets out the principles and values ​​on which the company builds its business in accordance with the applicable legislation of the Czech Republic. The corporate culture includes principles relating to fair dealing, environmental protection, respect for communities, respect for human rights and transparency. KERAMOST, a.s. has introduced an internal reporting system to further reduce the risk of unethical behaviour, which protects whistleblowers from retaliation. The aim is to motivate employees, suppliers and business partners to adopt a professional, responsible and accommodating approach.

Statement by KERAMOST, a.s.

In the interest of KERAMOST, a.s. and its employees, the company management has decided to make the following statement on behalf of KERAMOST, a.s. regarding the Criminal Liability of Legal Entities Act and the Whistleblower Protection Act in connection with the existing Compliance Program:

  1. KERAMOST, a.s. does not tolerate any form of criminal activity.
  2. All responsible persons and employees of KERAMOST, a.s. comply with the legislation of the Czech Republic as well as the internal organizational and management acts (ORA) of KERAMOST, a.s.
  3. KERAMOST, a.s. has an existing Compliance Program to prevent criminal liability.
  4. KERAMOST, a.s. makes every effort to prevent the actions of individuals that could be attributed to it pursuant to the provisions of Section 8 of the ZTOPO. The effort to prevent criminal liability of KERAMOST, a.s. is part of its corporate culture and the company's code of ethics.  
  5. The Compliance Program of KERAMOST, a.s. was created primarily for the purpose of preventing criminal activity and setting up the management and control system of KERAMOST, a.s.
  6. The Compliance Program is not just a one-time set of measures, but a system for continuous prevention of criminal liability of KERAMOST, a.s.. The Compliance Program is regularly evaluated and updated.
  7. The cornerstone of the Compliance Program is the Company's Code of Ethics, which is binding on all responsible persons and employees of KERAMOST, a.s.
  8. KERAMOST, a.s. has prepared a mechanism for identifying criminal and other risks and has invited its employees to use it to express concerns and receive reports on identified risks.
  9. The Compliance Program includes the company's "internal reporting system", which serves as a control mechanism.
  10. The internal reporting system is established to detect possible illegal actions, and also serves as a protection for all whistleblowers pursuant to Act No. 171/2023 Coll., ZOO.
