Bentonite for construction purposes is selectively mined and technologically processed to utilize its exceptional geological properties. These bentonites are characterized by high swelling capabilities, impermeability of mixed and compacted layers, and sealing effects in the rehabilitation and construction of reservoirs, waterworks, and landfills. Furthermore, construction bentonites are used as suspensions in drilling operations, for strengthening unstable subsoils, for deep foundation, etc. The specific properties of these bentonites allow for their further use as a plasticizing additive in pasty materials, plasters, mortars, and concretes.

This group consists of dried and ground 100% natural calcium-magnesium bentonites originating mainly from North Bohemian mining sites.
These bentonites are produced from selectively mined, homogenized, gently dried and ground raw materials. Activation exchanges natural calcium and magnesium ions in the crystal lattice for sodium ions, thereby achieving a significant improvement in the rheological properties of bentonite.
